Editor Sam Zimman Honored with Silver Telly Award for Work in Branded Content

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Sam Zimman is a 2015 Silver Telly Award Winner for his work on the branded content entry “Houdini – Keep Watching.”

Since its founding in 1979, The Telly Awards has annually honored the most respected advertising agencies and production companies. Out of over 12,000 submissions, Sam soared above the rest to receive this prestigious award!

In teaming up with History Channel and Chrysler, Sam utilized his years of experience in branded content to create a work of art that honored both the magic of History’s Houdini and the craftsmanship of the Chrysler 200. The project, which focused on slight of hand tricks, gave Sam the opportunity to exhibit his own magical talent for editing and post supervising. As Sam elaborates, “There are a lot of things that need to be perfectly aligned when doing a visual trick. I was so excited that producer Kevin Miller asked me to come to set and edit during the Phantom shoot. We were able to talk through the continuity and make all of our selects on set.
